Glass partitions in Kaunas

Kaunas is Lithuania's renovation capital — from heritage Žaliakalnis wooden homes to 70s Šilainiai concrete blocks to modern Akropolis-area developments. Glass partitions modernize each, adapting to non-standard ceilings and uneven walls. Our team handles Kaunas-specific challenges: heritage zone permitting, structural retrofits, and integration with existing wood/brick aesthetics.

— Kaunas

Why Kaunas projects need flexible glass partitions

Kaunas building stock is diverse: 25% historical wooden homes (Žaliakalnis, Vilijampolė, Šančiai) requiring careful integration with original architecture; 40% Soviet-era blocks needing modernization (Šilainiai, Eiguliai, Dainava); 35% post-2000 construction. Each demands different glass solutions — wooden home renovations favor industrial-style black-frame partitions, blocks benefit from frameless to add visual lightness, new constructions get premium acoustic packages. We have been working on renovation projects since 2020.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle heritage building renovations in Kaunas Old Town?

Yes — we have 12+ Old Town Kaunas projects. Heritage requirements vary by zone: most interior partitions need no permits. Wooden home (Žaliakalnis) renovations work well with our industrial black-frame style — visual contrast highlights original wood elements.

How do you handle uneven walls in old Kaunas buildings?

Standard practice for 80%+ of older Kaunas projects. We measure on-site with laser tools to capture wall slope/curvature, then design with 1-2cm silicone sealant tolerance at edges. Frameless partitions actually adapt better than rigid framed systems — flexible silicone joins allow up to 3cm wall variation without visible gap. Our Kaunas projects deal with this regularly.

Can you coordinate with my Kaunas general contractor?

Yes — preferred working method during major renovations. We coordinate timing (typically partition installation after wall finishing but before final flooring), share electrical and plumbing requirements (LED integration, pocket door wall preparation), and provide CAD drawings to your contractor. Saves Kaunas project owners 20-40 hours of coordination effort.

What's the lead time for Kaunas projects?

Standard timeline: quote (2–4 business days), on-site measurement once the preliminary price works for you, manufacturing (7–8 weeks from order confirmation), Kaunas delivery (next available Tue/Fri), installation (1-2 days).

Do you serve Kauno rajonas and surrounding areas?

Yes — Kauno rajonas (Garliava, Domeikava, Akademija, Karmėlava, Raudondvaris, Šlienava) all serviced under standard Kaunas conditions. Trakai county and Marijampolė county also possible (additional travel time billed).

Working across all of Kaunas

We measure, specify and install glass partitions, doors, shower enclosures and railings in every district of the city — we take exact measurements on site once the preliminary price works for you.

Each Vilnius district has its own typical project mix — Soviet-era apartments (Šnipiškės, Karoliniškės) more often need partition retrofits, while newer Pilaitė or Naujamiestis builds frequently get walk-in showers and frameless office partitions.
