Why Kaunas bathrooms benefit from custom shower enclosures

Kaunas bathroom realities: ~50% in older buildings (Šilainiai blocks, Žaliakalnis homes) with 3-5m² rooms, non-rectangular layouts, sloped floors from older renovations. Standard retail kits leave 5-15cm gaps requiring filler strips (looks unfinished). Our custom-sized enclosures fit exactly. Newer Kaunas builds (Akropolis, Romainiai) have larger rectangular bathrooms suitable for walk-in or L-shape designs. We measure and recommend best fit per situation.

Kaunas delivery and installation

We serve Kaunas city + Kauno rajonas. Manufacturing takes 7–8 weeks from order confirmation, then Kaunas delivery on next available Tuesday or Friday. Installation 4-6 hours for typical enclosure (sliding/pivot), full day for walk-in with linear drain coordination. We work with Kaunas plumbers — drain placement coordination critical especially for older buildings with limited slope.

— FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will a walk-in shower work in my small Kaunas apartment bathroom?

Walk-in needs minimum 4m² total. For 3-4m² (typical older Šilainiai/Eiguliai blocks), we recommend sliding or pivot doors — they contain water in tight spaces. We measure on-site once the preliminary price works for you and recommend the best fit. Many older Kaunas blocks need plumbing reconfiguration before walk-in is feasible (slope adjustment for linear drain).

Do you handle drain coordination with my Kaunas plumber?

Yes — drain installation is plumber work, but we coordinate timing and provide drain position drawings during measurement. Especially critical for walk-in (linear drain along glass edge needs precise alignment). We can recommend Kaunas plumbers we've worked with on similar projects if you don't have one.

What's the lead time for Kaunas projects?

Standard timeline: quote (2–4 business days), on-site measurement once the preliminary price works for you, manufacturing and delivery (7–8 weeks from order confirmation; Kaunas delivery on next available Tue/Fri), installation (4-8 hours).

Do you serve Kauno rajonas areas (Garliava, Karmėlava)?

Yes — Kauno rajonas (Garliava, Domeikava, Akademija, Karmėlava, Raudondvaris, Šlienava) all serviced under standard Kaunas conditions. Same delivery and installation timeline.

Can you match my existing Kaunas bathroom tile/style?

Yes — bring photos or tile samples to measurement. We carry hardware in chrome, black matte, brass and stainless brushed. Premium projects: custom glass tinting available (smoked grey, bronze), priced to your dimensions. For Kaunas heritage homes (Žaliakalnis), brass hardware works beautifully with original fixtures.

Working across all of Kaunas

We measure, specify and install glass partitions, doors, shower enclosures and railings in every district of the city — we take exact measurements on site once the preliminary price works for you.

Each Vilnius district has its own typical project mix — Soviet-era apartments (Šnipiškės, Karoliniškės) more often need partition retrofits, while newer Pilaitė or Naujamiestis builds frequently get walk-in showers and frameless office partitions.
